How to Create Data Streams in  Salesforce Data Cloud

How to bring SFMC Journey Information back into Data Cloud that is stored in a Data Extension


  1. Click on Data Stream in the Navigation Menu

  2. Click New

  3. Align the Source Data Extension to the Data Space you are working in

  4. Click on Data Extensions in the Top Navigation Menu

  5. Select your source data extension

  6. Select the “Other” category and select a field for the primary key

  1. Make sure that your field names don’t have more than 40 letters.  

  1. Map the DLO to the DMO

  1. Click on the Pen next to Data Model Entities and select which Data Model objects to map data into.  Then Click on the data to be mapped on the left and then click on the attribute to map the data to on the right.

    1. You can create new attribute fields from this screen

    2. You must map a key if you select an object
